Strange find in the woods

On one of thier journeys of discovery into the Bodstonian backcountry, James Forrester and Adahy come across, what for James is a strange object. Adahy explains to James that it is a  Totempole and, he not knowing to which tribe it belonged, could have several reasons for being placed where it is.
Among them, it could be a welcome sign  showing the border of a tribes territory or a housepost, the carvings,  a sort of heraldry,   telling the story of the family or tribe who owned it.
James wonders why it has been abandoned and Adahy explains that the tribe/Family may have moved, taking the Pole would have been too much effort.
James  makes a sketch of the Totempole and the friends continue thier journey of discovery.

  2. I like the totem pole - has a very 'real' look about it.

    3. I know :-D At the Moment several things have clashed..real work is a lot and then the Teutonics. All my blog Posts recently (apart from the Teutonics and the bannockburn set) are things done and put on the draft function of the Blogs..both here and PB´s. It Looks as if I am creating and posting as I go along (true for the Teutonics) but really a lot of stuff was done months ago. I could theoretically post 20 new blog posts today, 3 here and the rest at PB´s all prepared and ready to go and there´s loads of stuff from last year still not photographed and uploaded.
The first 365 days of the PB blog (2010-2011) I posted 365 Posts..320 in 2011 alone, but that was 6 or 7 years worth of "back catalogue" :-D
