  1. Nice! The color of the horse stands out prominently for me. I guess there are no Indians in those woods.

    1. When she gets published on the other place I will show a simple trick with the background. In some photos it appears as if she is "in" the scene, a bit of a 3D effect.

It's a pleasure to have some news of this nice Country!
(Good use of this well-known figure!)

    1. She´s been mentioned before but never shown. I´ve been very lazy with this world lately..but the new year is coming and some more effort will be made.

  4. A 18th C. sidesaddle mounted lady in riding habit in 1/72? A conversion, maybe?
    Compliments.

    1. :-D
She is a converted maid marion from the airfix Robinhood set. The reins and tack trimmed down, a head from the airfix washingtons army set, feet added with a magic mixture I´ve invented. Not the best conversion, her face isn´t the most attractive and the mini was very badly molded to start with, lots of flash and the horses rear left leg was missing entirely. I´ll (hopefully) get a couple more in march so another attempt can be made.

  5. Hello Paul:
I would never have recognized the original here as Maid Marian! A great conversion. She looks like a lady not to be trifled with, someone who knows her way in the world and is respected by all. A lovely figure. Looking forward to more tales of Bodstonia in the coming year. Cheers, Mike

My head has the story but my hands can´t produce enough to bring it into 3D. I´ll keep this one going though..the tortoise to the hare (blog) :-D
